We are having a wonderful time here in San Diego. San Diego is a marvelous city. The climate is amazing. It is never too hot or too cold. The people are very friendly and relaxed.
We love the University of California in San Diego. The professors are very prepared and the courses are well organized. Our first week here, we unicalisd.jpgwere separated by our level of English according to different categories. For example there are different levels of grammar and speaking. Then we were assigned to a class according to our level in each category. Along with the courses, we have access to all of the services the University has to offer, like the wide range of sports facilities and the library.
The other students are very friendly and we always have a good time together. There are students from Japan, South Korea, China, Taiwan, Saudi Arabia, Iraq, Turkey, Brazil, Chile, Switzerland, Germany, and France which enables me to get to know different cultures and understand them better.
Some of my classmates live on campus and have the advantage of having everything very close to them. They also can receive 3 meals a day for free in many of the restaurants on campus. We live in Costa Verde, Anatolia. We are very happy here also. We have to take a bus to class which comes every 15 minutes. From our stop, we have to walk less than 5 minutes to class. The bus is free for students, which makes it easy for those who live on campus to get to the center of the city of San Diego. There are also companies that you can rent a car from. Many of these companies have special offers for students. You can rent a car for 375 dollars a month which is 270 euro. Gas is 0,50 euro per liter, so renting a car is another option for transportation. We rented one to enjoy more of California and it´s beautiful scenery.
We are really happy with our courses and our decision to study in San Diego. The people here are truly wonderful as well.
